Mixed Meditation Arts is a blended
mindfulness practice that draws from
different disciplines such as traditional
meditation, body/somatic awareness,
performing arts and visual arts. The
workshop is designed to deepen one’s
connection and awareness of breath, body,
thoughts and feelings. Through guided
facilitation, pre-recorded soundscapes, live
music and art, participants are led to
experience inner exploration, stillness and
mind-body integration.
Mindfulness is the ability to be fully aware
and available to the present moment and
task at hand, without being distracted.
In challenging contexts, it may become difficult to maintain focus and emotional stability, which over a period of time, can lead to
mental health difficulties and conflict.
Regular mindfulness practice can offset
many of these effects, by helping us
strengthen inner observation and respond
with self-awareness and wisdom.
In this workshop, we focus on the practices of 'soothing oneself' and connecting compassionately to oneself: physically, mentally and emotionally. The session is designed to deepen one’s connection and awareness of body, senses and feelings through guided movement and art activities.
To identify the source of our stress and to
relieve stress physically and emotionally is
an invaluable skill. The ability or the lack of
it determines the quality of our life, health
and efficiency. With the dramatic changes
to our lives brought on by the pandemic
this skill has gained paramount importance.
As we learn to adapt we require knowledge
and skills to cope with stress. In this
context, we develop coping
skills for stress with an emphasis on
mindfulness.
Through guided visualisations and art, we connect with ourselves in ways that allow us to hold the difficult feelings of anxiety and fears that maybe surfacing in our lives. While making room for these emotions that have a valid place in our lives, we also recognise their transient nature, through reflection and self-observation.
Grounding and centering practices pull us out of cycles of overthinking, emotional fluctuations/inconsistencies and enable us to act from a place of stability and clarity. Through mindful connection with our breath, body and other materials, we find the support and balance required for our wellbeing.

Communication is one of the most important markers of the quality and strength of a relationship - professional or personal. It is through our ability to communicate effectively, listen and respond empathetically that we build trust and understanding, as well as resolve conflicts smoothly. In this workshop we learn to communicate openly and compassionately especially as we all navigate this new shared reality of a pandemic with its challenges.
This workshop is useful for participants to improve their productivity, understand what style of personal productivity works best for them, and how they can prioritise activities and use their time wisely by understanding what motivates and drives them.
In this workshop, participants will learn the fundamental elements of creating a psychologically safe workplace, and developing an understanding of the skills they need in order to do so. These are active listening, developing an open mindset and creating a safe space with empathy, and creating a sense of shared identity.
Our workshops are customisable, and will be designed as per the needs of the group.

Thank you for planning a beautiful Sunday morning session for us. It made be feel centered and that feeling continued the entire day and came through everything that I was doing.
- Snehal
The sessions were conducted in a non-judgemental and accepting space. While I started out with feeling conscious about sharing my art-work and my thought, the space that you created, and the team, helped me be more comfortable in sharing my vulnerabilities :)
- Mridula
Thank you for giving a wonderful experience. I loved the ‘tree’ practice. It made me go deeper into myself and at the same time realise how integrated we are as a world.
